MINT GREEN (MUL SAREE)
The sun was shining and Mohini’s heart, although heavy, was lifted by the sound of waves washing onto the black sand over a sandy hill. Although this place brought her peace, beneath that calm surface she felt as if she was trying to gather up the broken bits of her life and put them back together. But the bits kept slipping through her fingers as if they were watery. Above her the sun sparkled as if it fell on clear sea and a light breeze shifted the leaves making the sun appear like a dazzling star with many points. She felt her heart lifting as she dived into the warm air carrying the scent of mint leaves nearby. She wrapped her arms around herself and held them there, embracing her in a self-moulding hug. Ah! happiness is best enjoyed alone.

The mul cotton commonly known as mul mul is categorized as muslin cotton, whose origin traces back to pre Indus valley civilization era. The 14th-century Sufi poet and scholar Amir Khusrau mentioned about muslin being so light that a hundred yards could pass through the eye of the needle.
The speciality of the fabric is derived by the way it is weaved. Cotton fibres are separated and spun into strong threads. Amongst that, the lightest and the most delicate fibres are separated which are then spun into muslin thread. Our skilled weavers weave this muslin threads in into magical drapes. Ruffles are perfect addition to this incredibly soft and light mul mul sarees. Although a time consuming process, our local craftsman designs this beautiful ruffles to add that extra spunk.
