STORY:

She was one of the happy kinds, one of those who couldn’t precisely place the reason of her happiness, was it the wonderful deep blue skies or the unputdownable breeze blowing in little purring puffs carrying with it the scent of earth mixed with marigold and rose from the meadows nearby. Although, to her every wind in the world was a friend - even those wild winter ones that blew so fiercely up in the top of the hill. On the hill, she could see tin trinkets of glittering lights like silver fairy worlds in the twilight against the backdrop of dark green trees. The marigolds which fed her some secret spring of delight by the side of the old thorn hedge near her door were of immemorial antiquity and she would spend hours looking at them till dusk. She used to hear them talking to her, “Come, come …. we have something to tell you” and she would gladly go and speak to them. And she loved it when the summer showers spun shining threads of rain below.

This sunshine yellow mulmul cotton saree is an absolute stunner.

DESCRIPTION:

The mul cotton commonly known as mul mul is categorized as muslin cotton, whose origin traces back to pre Indus valley civilization era.  The 14th-century Sufi poet and scholar Amir Khusrau mentioned about muslin being so light that a hundred yards could pass through the eye of the needle.
The speciality of the fabric is derived by the way it is weaved. Cotton fibres are separated and spun into strong threads. Amongst that, the lightest and the most delicate fibres are separated which are then spun into muslin thread. Laces are a perfect addition to this incredibly soft and light mul mul sarees.
