Aneha and her spouse did finally meet to get married this year, delayed by another two years for once the Covid hit, there were lockdowns and travel restrictions in place. Yet they maintained their relationship for 15 long years in the longest possible distance, he was in Alaska and she in Arunachal, they met on Facebook. They say that their time zones allowed them to be each other with each other throughout the 24 hours of the day. To stay connected, they started a daily ritual which has become their salvation – live cooking, she cooks at 6:30 AM when it is 7 PM for him. They spend the next several hours helping each other cook, savouring the meal, watching a movie on the shared screen and catching up. Handloom cotton fabric is woven using hand operated looms. The warp (length) and weft (width) are two sets of interlacing yarns woven by weavers on a mechanised loom that do not use electricity.
